MVR 1,500 Each to New Adhaalath Party Signees

In an effort to recruit 10,000 members to the party, Adhaalath Party has begun offering MVR 1,500 to new signees.
The name for the government coalition party’s campaign is “Saafu Amaazakah”, loosely translated as “towards a clear aim”. Minister of Home Affairs and Leader of Adhaalath Party Imran Abdulla, the officiant of the campaign, stated that when he was appointed as leader in 2011, there were only 4,600 members, but the number increased to 11,000 the following year.
The minister speculated the number of party members decreased in 2015 due to planned changes to the constitution. He claimed that Adhaalath Party has done more than any other party during the pandemic by holding online elections and holding a national-level congress.
Having previously worked with the Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM), Imran claimed that presidency can only be won by a coalition, and recommended political parties prioritize their aim and collaborate with other parties.
Dhiyares acquired a contact number for those running the campaign issuing MVR 1,500 to members signing into the party.
When questioned to confirm whether they were involved in recruiting members for Adhaalath Party, they claimed that the efforts have been halted due to difficulties in obtaining forms. They revealed that they would call back once they receive more forms.
The person confirmed that each form is to receive MVR 1,500 when Dhiyares mentioned being informed of financial compensation in exchange for signing into the party.
A party official did not answer calls to obtain a statement.
