Indian, South Asian Tourists Permitted to Travel to Islands from July 30

Health Emergency Operations Center (HEOC) has declared that tourists from South Asia, including India, will be permitted to travel to islands with guesthouses.
During a press conference today, Spokesperson for the President's Office Mabrook Azeez stated that Health Protection Agency (HPA) is considering allowing South Asian tourists to visit islands with guesthouses from July 30.
He further stated that HPA aims to vaccinate the majority of the population on islands with guesthouses, and will be conducting special operations to do so.
The reason behind vaccinated the majority of the population of islands with guesthouses is to slow the spread of the virus and to decrease the number of patients who may need to be hospitalized.
Several countries, along with continuing vaccinations, have expressed their concerns regarding the spread of the delta variant discovered in India. Israel, with the highest rate of vaccinations in the world, has also expressed great concern regarding the spread of the delta variant.
Research conducted by the Israeli Health Ministry showed that the Pfizer vaccine has little to no effect on the delta variant.
