“India Out” protests spark at Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF) base Kalhuthuh’kalaa Koshi.
Images shared with Dhiyares, the sister news outlet of The Maldives Journal, show bathroom stalls vandalized with “#IndiaOut”, the hashtag popularized on social media, to expel the Indian military from the Maldives.
A source informed TMJ that more MNDF officers will continue to raise their voices on the issue soon.
MNDF Spokesperson Major Ibrahim Azim refused to comment on whether any steps will be taken to address the issue.
