Saudi Reduces the Amount of Dates Donated to the Maldives

Saudi Arabia donated fewer dates to the Maldives this year compared to the last.

Last year, Saudi Arabia donated 50 tonnes of dates to the Maldives. This year they donated half that amount.

In the ceremony held at the Saudi Embassy of Maldives, Dr. Ahmed Zahir Ali, the Minister for Islamic Affairs received this donation.

Saudi Arabia donates dates to the Maldives in relation to the Holy Month of Ramadan every year.
