Member for Guraidhoo Constituency and opposition PPM's Vice President Mohamed Ghassaan Maumoon has called to not tarnish the good name of civil service with politics.
Ghassan stated in a tweet that civil servants should not have to stay silent from the moment they sign their contract to their graves in response to Member for Hoarafushi Constituency Ahmed Saleem stating so on the floor of People’s Majlis.
The member further tweeted that civil servants are the reason the government functions and that this government should appreciate civil servants instead of pestering and badgering them as the negative results of the aforementioned are now showing.
