Minister of Defence Travels to India

Minister of Defence, Mariya Ahmed Didi, has travelled to India on an official visit.

The Minister travelled to India to attend the Aero India 2021 Defence Airshow and Defence Exhibition, which will run from the 3rd to the 7th of February, and to participate in the Indian Ocean Region Defence Ministers Conclave. She will be travelling on the invitation of Indian Minister of Defence, Rajunath Singh.

All of the expenses of her trip are borne by the Indian government.

Chief of Defence Forces Maj. Gen. Abdullah Shamal and Brig. Gen. Abdul Mateen Ahmed and Let. Col. Hassan Amir will accompany the Minister on the trip.
