The People’s Majlis has officially registered on TikTok.
TikTok is a social media platform that has become very popular in the Maldives recently. The platform is widely used to share videos users make of themselves while singing, dancing, and also to share self-made skits.
Although individual politicians do maintain TikTok accounts, this will be the first time an office of a nation’s government joined the platform.
