Youth Dies in FVM

A youth who had been found in the water after going missing in Fuvahmulah City has died in hospital.

According to the Maldives Police Service, the 17-year-old youth who had gone missing had been found submerged in the sea at around 5:50 pm yesterday.

The Police had been informed of the youth having gone missing at around 4:47pm that day. The youth had gone missing after they had gone swimming in the Maneyra area of the island.

According to the Police, the youth died while being treated at hospital.
