MTCC Announces Eid al-Adha Bus and Ferry Schedules

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has released the official bus and ferry schedules for Eid al-Adha.

According to MTCC, Greater Male' Region bus services will begin at 8:00 AM on Eid day. However, to accommodate early travellers, special buses will operate from Male' and Hulhumale' Phase 1 and Phase 2 to Velana International Airport at 5:30 AM and 6:00 AM before Eid prayer.

Vilimale' bus services will be suspended between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM on the morning of Eid.

Ferry schedules for Eid day are as follows:

- Male'-Vilimale': Last ferry before Eid prayer at 06:30, first ferry after prayer at 08:00

- Hulhumale'-Male': First ferry at 14:00

- Male'-Hulhumale': First ferry at 14:30

- Male'-Thilafushi: First ferry at 08:30

- Thilafushi-Male': First ferry at 09:00

MTCC has also stated that CFN wooden ferry and RTL ferry services will not operate on Eid day.
