Registration has officially opened for Maldivian businesses to participate in the prestigious China South-Asia Exposition (CSA Expo), scheduled to take place this June. This annual event provides a valuable platform for businesses from across the region to showcase their products and engage in strategic business networking.
The Ministry of Economic Development emphasizes the significance of this expo, which is recognized as one of the most successful and influential exhibitions in the region. Previous participants have consistently highlighted the favorable opportunities it presents for Maldivian businesses, offering a unique chance to display their products to a broader international audience while establishing meaningful business connections.
In addition to the opportunity for product display and sales, the CSA Expo offers a business matchmaking service, helping Maldivian entrepreneurs connect with potential partners and clients from around the world. Several activities designed to foster such collaborations will also be organized during the event.
The Ministry has been working closely with embassies in neighboring and friendly countries to support the involvement of Maldivian businesses in such trade fairs and seminars. As part of the government's broader efforts to find suitable markets for Maldivian products, this expo is seen as a key event in promoting the nation's trade and commerce on the global stage.
Interested businesses are encouraged to submit their application forms by April 14, 2025, to international@trade.gov.mv. The Ministry has indicated that space allocation will be based on the number of booths available to the Maldives, and businesses are urged to apply promptly to secure their place.
