MMA Announces Operating Hours for Ramadan

The Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA) has announced its operating hours for the upcoming Ramadan 1446.

From the 2nd to the 20th of Ramadan, as well as March 27 and 29 days within the last ten days of Ramadan when MMA is scheduled to be open—the authority will operate from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

MMA also stated that it will remain open during the first seven days of Shawwal, maintaining the same operating hours.

Regarding banking services, cash deposit and withdrawal services will be available from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM on these days. Letter and parcel reception services will also be available during the same hours.

While MMA has announced its schedule for Ramadan, banks have yet to disclose their operating hours for the holy month.
