Ooredoo Promotes Sustainable Gardening for the Elderly in Feydhoo

On November 25, 2024, Ooredoo Maldives, in collaboration with the S. Feydhoo Avashu Office, hosted a "Grow with Ooredoo" session in Addu Atoll Feydhoo. The initiative, aimed at promoting sustainable gardening practices among the elderly, provided a platform for both male and female participants to explore home gardening techniques tailored to their needs.
The session was led by Ramzee Hussain, Ooredoo’s “Grow with Ooredoo” Brand Ambassador, who shared practical advice on cultivating sustainable home gardens. Through interactive demonstrations and discussions, the program emphasized the physical and mental health benefits of gardening, creating a supportive and engaging atmosphere.
Participants actively engaged in hands-on activities, exchanged personal experiences, and expressed gratitude for the opportunity to acquire new skills. The initiative highlighted the importance of fostering inclusivity and enabling the elderly to remain active contributors to their communities.

This event forms part of Ooredoo’s broader "Grow with Ooredoo" series, which aims to visit islands across the Maldives to promote sustainable living practices. By empowering elderly individuals through knowledge-sharing and skill-building, Ooredoo demonstrates its commitment to inclusivity and environmental sustainability.

Ooredoo Maldives continues to design initiatives that enhance the quality of life for diverse groups, particularly the elderly. Through programs like this, the company reinforces its role in building strong, inclusive communities and promoting environmentally friendly practices across the nation.
