Maldivian, the national airline of the Maldives, has expanded its domestic flight services to several destinations across the country in response to increased demand during the ongoing school holidays. The airline announced that it has scheduled additional flights to select destinations, supplementing its regular routes to accommodate the surge in passengers traveling for vacations and medical treatment.
This decision comes as a result of heightened demand for domestic travel, with many families taking advantage of the holiday period to visit different parts of the country. Maldivian has similarly increased its flights during previous holiday seasons to meet the needs of travelers.
With a current network covering 16 destinations within the Maldives, Maldivian continues to play a crucial role in connecting the islands and ensuring that citizens can easily access both leisure and essential services. The airline emphasized its commitment to supporting the domestic travel sector, especially during peak times like school holidays.
