Government Seeks Public Input on Public Debt Bill

The Maldivian Parliament has announced the opening of the Debt Bill for public comment. According to a recent statement from Parliament, the bill will be available for public review and input starting from today.
The announcement specifies that any comments or suggested amendments to the bill must be submitted by 2:00 PM on the 15th of this month. Citizens are encouraged to send their feedback to the Public Accounts Committee of the Parliament via email at [email protected] or in writing to the Parliament Office.
By involving the public in this legislative process, the maldives parliament hopes to ensure that the bill reflects the concerns and suggestions of its citizens, leading to more comprehensive and effective debt management policies.
