The distribution follows the guidelines set forth by the Political Parties Act, which mandates state funding for parties that have surpassed 10,000 members before the budget is passed. The allocation is based on the number of registered members each party has.
The following parties have received state funds:

- Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM): MVR 10.4 million
- People's National Congress (PNC): RF 8.0 million

- Adhaalath Party: RF 2.5 million
- Maldives Development Alliance (MDA): RF 2.4 million
The total allocation is calculated at MVR 289.62 per member, based on the number of registered members in each party.
