President Says There Can Be No Excuses, Government Will Work Towards Development

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has stated that he and his team are not going to make excuses and the people will then see the development of the country accelerate many times over.

Speaking at a rally held at the Artificial Beach to celebrate the victory of the PPM/PNC in the parliamentary elections, the President said today it was confirmed that the future of this country is very bright. The people have decided that the independence of this country should be secured, development should take place at a fast pace, and there should be peace and satisfaction in the country.

The President said that these are the things that the people of Maldives have proved and he would like to thank God for this opportunity.

The President said the next step is to get to work and accelerate the pace of all existing work.

“We are not making excuses. I and our team are all sincere and serious about working. Then we will see how things are done in action,” he said.

In this regard, the President assured that he would leave the bitter history of housing problems in the past forever and fulfill his promise to solve this most important issue for the people of Maldives.
