Women and Men Should Have Equal Share in A Country’s Development: First Lady Saajidha

First Lady Saajidha Mohammed has said that women and men should have equal share in the development of a country, and women should have increased access to skills development and training.
She was speaking at the 2023 Annual General Meeting of the Maldives Girl Guides Association.
In her speech, the First Lady stressed the importance of equal participation of women and men in the development of a society or a country.
She said the result of the skills, knowledge, courage, bravery, and diligence taught by the Girl Guide movement is that the graduates of the Girl Guide Association are still in many responsible and high level positions in Maldives.
The First Lady presented the Guide Association Chief Commissioner’s Certificate, Asia Pacific Regional Award, and Trainer’s Level Bronze Palm winners with commemorative plaques and badges.
