Director General of Abu Dhabi Fund for Development Meets with President

Mohammed Saif Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development, paid a courtesy call on President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu.

The meeting was held during the World Governments Summit 2024, the President’s Office said.

At the meeting, the Dr. Muizzu and Saif Al Suwaidi discussed ways to further strengthen the long-standing close relationship between Maldives and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). In addition, they exchanged views on what the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development can do for Maldives’ development.

The President thanked the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development for its continuous assistance to Maldives. Similarly, the Director General expressed his satisfaction with the partnership with Maldives and assured that he would continue to support the development of the country in the future.

The meeting also covered the enhancement of cooperation in tourism, agriculture, health, economy and other development areas.
