President Dr. Muizzu announces the Addu bridge project will be completed during his term.
The Addu City bridge will be completed during this term, the President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu said.
Speaking at the swearing-in ceremony of the Mayor of Malé City yesterday, the President said the government will continue to build bridges and causeways in different parts of the country.
The feasibility work of the Addu City Bridge has already started and the work will be handed over to a contractor very soon, he said.
"We will not only build the bridge in Addu City. The feasibility work has already started. Hopefully, all the details will be completed soon," he said.
Minister of Construction, Abdullah Muththalib said that the bridge project will be handed over to a competent company soon to carry out the study of the area and design of the bridge.
