Rooma dancing at President Solih's campaign event.
Fathimath Rooma, who was arrested by police in May last year on charges of drug trafficking, has appeared at president Ibrahim Mohamed Solih's campaign meeting last evening.
Along with her, others can be seen dancing. The dance at the event comes at a time when Nasheed's supporters have criticized the dull campaign events of President Solih.
Tiktok stars are often hired by some political parties to perform at political events.
Rooma is quite popular among some locals for dancing on TikTok. She and her husband were arrested by the police in May last year in a special operation but were later released on bail by the court.
The police had told the court at the time that they had been arrested with drugs. Though they were granted bail by the court, the police are still investigating the case.
