Established Islamic Scholar, Mufti Ismail Ibn Musa Menk (Mufti Menk) is set to arrive in Maldives in October.
Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dr Ahmed Zahir, said today in a tweet, that Mufti Menk was scheduled to tour in Maldives from 28th to 31st October.
The well-known scholar is popular amongst the Maldivian public and has had multiple visits to the Maldives where he had delivered sermons and led the Jumuah prayer on Friday.
Born into the South African subcontinent, Mufti Menk is a Zimbabwean Islamic scholar.
