Shri Varshney College in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, India, has decided to take action against a Muslim teacher who offered Namaaz in the college premises.
A Muslim teacher at the college prayed near a tree in an isolated area of the college.
The principal of the college Anil Kumar Gupta has said that a committee has been formed to investigate the matter. He said that the committee would take action to investigate the matter.
He also said that he would not allow prayers in the college.
Muslims in India face a lot of challenges every day. Such incidents have been on the rise since Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi took office. Modi was conferred with the Order of the Distinguished Rule of Izzudeen by the government of Maldives in 2019.
