MTCC Earns MVR224.6 Million In Profits

The Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) had earned MVR224.6 million in profits in the past year.

According to the financial statistics of its fourth quarter of 2021, the MTCC had earned a profit of MVR224.6 million at the end of the year. This had been a 15% increase on the profit earned in 2020, during which the MTCC had earned MVR190.6 million in profits.

The MTCC had earned a total revenue of MVR1.96 billion in 2021, and a total revenue of MVR1.36 billion in the preceding year.

The MTCC had implemented several infrastructural projects in 2021. The Company is currently working on 103 projects, at varying stages of completion. 10 projects had been completed within this quarter, and 8 new projects had begun work. The MTCC said that they had been contracted with 18 new projects.
