State Trading Organisation (STO) has raised fuel prices due to the inflation of fuel rates across International markets.
According to STO, the price of fuel sold across Maldives by its subsidiary company, Fuel Service Maldives (FSM), has also increased.
Changes to prices include an increase of MVR 0.22 for a litre of diesel, and an increase of MVR 0.98 for a litre of petrol. A litre of diesel will now cost MVR 10.94, and a litre of petrol will cost MVR 10.72.
It is worth noting that STO has been increasing fuel prices since the beginning of the year.
