Will Try to Employ More MDP Members: President

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has stated that an adequate number of MDP members have been employed so far and that he will attempt to employ more members of MDP in the future.

Answering a question posed during yesterday's press conference, the President stated that there is an issue of employment in MDP and that he will attempt to employ more members in days to come.

‘There is a large concern regarding employment in MDP. I have assessed the vacancy in the government and employed as many members I can. I will further do so’, stated the President.

When asked about the appointment of unqualified participants to government boards during the press conference, the President stated that appointments are carried out as a joint effort and that other authorities assess the competency of the participants.

There has been rising concern regarding unqualified MDP members being employed throughout the government.
