President Solih Receives Second covishield Dose

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has received the second dose of the covishield vaccine on 5th April 2021.

President Solih tweeted that he had gotten the second dose of the COVISHIELD vaccine. He asked the public to get their second dose of the vaccine within 8 weeks of receiving the first dose.

President Solih also urged everyone who had not yet been vaccinated, to go and get the first shot of the vaccine. He ended by noting that we could beat COVID19 together.

Maldives started its COVID19 vaccination campaign this February. The citizens are currently receiving COVISHIELD from India, Sinopharm from China and Pfizer from Germany.
