Bank of Maldives Announces Five-Day Closure for New Year Period

The Bank of Maldives (BML) has announced a temporary closure of all branches, service centers, and head offices from Monday, December 31, 2024, to Saturday, January 4, 2025. Operations will resume on Sunday, January 5, 2025.

The closure is part of an annual routine for year-end financial record finalization and preparation for the new fiscal year.

Despite the suspension of in-person services, BML has assured customers that essential banking operations will remain available through ATMs, internet banking, and its call center. Customers are encouraged to plan their banking needs accordingly.
