CA Maldives to Host Largest Accounting Forum on IFRS and ISA Standards from December 14

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of the Maldives (CA Maldives) has announced the commencement of the "IFRS and ISA Forum," the largest accounting forum in the country, starting on December 14. The forum, which will run until December 15, will take place at the Umar Zahir Building and is expected to attract over 300 participants.

Speaking on PSM News, CA Maldives President Mohamed Haleem Abdullah emphasized the importance of the forum, stating that it will provide valuable updates on the latest International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Standards on Auditing (ISA). He noted that the forum will feature presentations and training sessions by accounting experts from abroad.

Haleem highlighted the significance of this event for those working in the accounting field, explaining that it receives strong support from local businesses and professionals in the industry.The forum, which has been organized every year since 2022, marks its third edition this year.
