Pursuant to Article 7 of Act No. 2010/22 (Courts of Maldives Act), the Supreme Court of the Maldives will observe its annual recess from the last official working day of November 2024 until the first official working day of January 2025.
During this period, no hearings will be conducted except in cases outlined under Article 7(III) and (IV) of the Courts Act, or where the Constitution or applicable laws mandate a decision within a specified timeframe.
While hearings will be suspended, the court will continue to accept case submissions and maintain all other administrative operations without interruption.
