A migrant worker has been taken into custody for allegedly sexually assaulting an eight-year-old boy. The police reported that the incident occurred on October 22 in one of the islands in the southern region, which includes G.A, G.Dh, Fuvahmulah, and Addu City.
The 26-year-old foreign national was arrested yesterday after a court order was issued in connection with the case. Authorities are continuing their investigation into the matter.
