Average Stay of Tourists in Maldives Rises to Eight Days

The average length of stay for tourists visiting Maldives has risen to eight days, according to statistics released by the Ministry of Tourism.

The duration of tourists' holidays in Maldives increased to eight days at the beginning of 2023, but since February that year, the average number of days tourists spent in Maldives has remained at 7.6 days.

Statistics show that the largest number of tourists visited Maldives this year came from China. As of yesterday, 60,699 tourists had visited Maldives from China. The second largest number of tourists came from Russia, with Italy being third on the list.

India, which had the highest number of tourist arrivals to Maldives last year, is now sixth on the list with 31,028.
