The upcoming Artists’ Expo will be the largest ever held in the country, Economic Development and Trade Minister Mohamed Saeed said.
Minister Saeed was speaking at a function organized by the SME Development Finance Corporation (SDFC) for women entrepreneurs.
The expo will be held with the intention of promoting the artists and will showcase their skills and products to a wide range of people. The expo will be divided into sections and the artists will be categorized accordingly.
The Minister said the expo would be held at a national level, and would be second to none. The minister said the cooperation of all the artists of Maldives is important for the success of this event.
The Minister said that the expo will open up greater opportunities for the artists in Maldives in their field.
The expo will be held in collaboration with the Business Center Corporation. The event will aim to attract international investors to invest in reviving the art of Maldivian artists and showcasing their talents to the world.
