New member of the Maldives Bar Council’s Executive Committee, Aishath Sheena.
Aishath Sheena Mohamed, from H. Dhonannaaruge, was elected as a member of the Executive Committee of the Bar Council of Dhaka yesterday.
Sheena was the only candidate for the Bar Council's Executive Committee.
71 ordinary members were eligible for registration to vote, however 35 members decided against voting in this election.
24 members voted in favor of Sheena's election through the Maldives Securities Depository Company's online web application Fahivote. 12 members voted against.
The election was held yesterday to appoint a member to the Bar Council's Executive Committee.
