10% Increase in Tourist Arrivals in First Two Weeks of 2024

The first 13 days of this year saw a 10 percent increase in tourist arrivals.

According to the data released by the Ministry of Tourism, 76,979 tourists visited Maldives from the first day of this year to the 13th of this month. This is an increase of 7444 (10.7%) over the 69,535 tourists who visited in the same period in 2023.

The largest number of tourists so far this year came from Russia, with 10,203 tourists arriving from the country. In second place, Italy produced 9019 tourist arrivals.
