Special Clinic Launched for Elderly

A special clinic will be established to care for the elderly. To assist in creating easy access, the Ministry of Health is also launching a home-based memo service for when doctor's appointments are scheduled as part of an effort to expand access to special health care for the elderly. The service was launched at a ceremony held at IGMH today by Health Minister, Abdullah Khaleel.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Minister said he do not doubt that the clinic would provide excellent care for the elderly and start more efforts to keep them in good health.

One of the promises of Dr. Mohammed Muizzu’s presidency is to pay special attention to the elderly in different parts of the country and expand the service to every atoll of the country.
