President meets with Hunan Construction Investment Group

President Dr. Muizzu was paid a courtesy call by Mr. Cai Dianwei, the Managing Director of Hunan Construction Investment Group (HCIG), along with other senior representatives of the company.

Mr. Cai Dianwei gave a brief overview of the company and informed the president of some of their projects during the meeting. He expressed an interest in further interaction with the people of Maldives.

The President assured his full support for further cooperation between Maldives and China in the future.

This meeting took place during the President’s state visit to China at invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping.
