Protest held outside the foreign minister's residence.
Supporters of People's Progressive Party has protested outside the residence of Foreign Minister Abdullah Shahid last night.
The opposition said last night that the protest was against the government's loot and rampant corruption. It is a protest demanding the resignation of the big fraudsters in the government as the government has failed.
Maldives Police Service dismissed the protestors soon after the protest started.
The opposition is also planning a grand rally on 23rd December. According to officials of the party, the rally ill be focused on the rampant corruption in the government.
