Medtech Maldives hosted a symposium on Critical Care Advanced Ventilation and Defibrillation in the Maldives.
About 100 doctors and nurses from IGMH, Treetop Hospital, Senahiya, Hulhumale’ Hospital and other island hospitals attended the symposium. Expert scientific trainers from Hamilton Medical, Switzerland, and Zoll Medical, America lectured the attendees at the event held from November 22-24 at Meerumaa Event Hall.
Medtech stated that the aim of the event was to make healthcare workers more familiar with the use of advanced options in equipment such as Intelligent Breathing Assist Devices and Defibrillators used in hospital critical care services.
Medtech said that while most of the machinery used in the Maldives are fairly modern and of good quality, being an important partner of the health sector, the symposium was an efficient initiative on part of Medtech, to better aid the health sector in human development and enhancement of technical knowledge of health service providers.
Medtech was founded in 2009 and has continued the establishment of world class facilities in the Maldives.
