Wizz Air Begins flights to Maldives

The budget airline of Hungary, Wizz Air’s UAE Subsidiary, WizzAir Abu Dhabi has officially begun flying to the Maldives.

Wizz Air Abu Dhabi’s first flight to Maldives, landed at Velana International Airport at 4:50pm this afternoon. Wizz Air is set to have three scheduled flights to the Maldives; on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursdays.

The booking price for Wizz Air flights to travel between Abu Dhabi and the Maldives fall below USD 200, which would make it the cheapest available rate to travel to Abu Dhabi and back.

Velana International Airport welcomed the Wizz Air Airbus A321 model flight, today, with a water salute to commemorate the airline’s initial flight to the maldives.

Wizz Air’s main operations are based at Hungary and the airline is doted to be one of the cheapest flights to travel within European countries.
