TikTok verifies accounts of key opposition figures

TikTok, has verified accounts opposition People’s Progressive Party’s (PPM) Vice President Ghassan Maumoon and PPM’s council member Zahid Rameez’s Tiktok account.

They were the latest politicians from the Maldives to have a verified account.

It is likely that more people will start using Tiktok with the verification of MP Ghassan Maumoon and Zahid Rameez’s account as they have a huge following on other social media outlets.

TikTok is the most popular social media platform in the Maldives after Facebook and Instagram.
