Health Minister Dr. Khaleel meets Assistant Minister of Global Health Dr. Hinoshita Eiji.
Maldives and Japan have held talks on technical support for the health sector.
The discussions took place on the sidelines of the 154th meeting of the World Health Organization (WHO) Executive Board in Geneva, Switzerland.
Health Minister Dr. Abdullah Khaleel met with Japanese Assistant Minister for Global Health and Welfare, Dr. Hinoshita Eiji.
The meeting discussed the potential for technical assistance to improve the care offered to elderly, as well as further support for mental health services.
Minister Khaleel is currently attending the Executive Board meeting from the 22nd to the 27th of this month.
